Do
these stickers actually work? I recently placed a sample of them for
sale on eBay and within 24 hours a complaint had been filed by a
police agency and eBay killed the ad.
I
have given many of these away to friends and family members and have
had numerous reports of them not receiving a ticket. YES, they do
work.
This page on my website generates a tremendous amount of “hate”
email from LEO’s and their supporters. I have even received numerous
subliminal threatening messages. Ones were they tell me “they are
praying for my safety”. No problems, I am WELL PROTECTED!
You've probably seen them. Cars displaying them haul @ss past you on
Ga. 400, and then cut you off turning into the
Phipps
Plaza parking lot. Cars with them linger for days in short-term
parking at the airport. Nine times out of 10, they're on an
expensive car. The stripe in the middle of the black rectangle will
be blue. What are these mysterious
Black
and
Blue
decals? Do they really represent a close connection to law
enforcement departments -- and, rumor has it, immunity from the law?
I
began an Internet search to find out how I might acquire a decal. My
five-minute Google search for a “thin
blue
line”
decal proved fruitless, as they are advertised
as
only being sold
to law enforcement officers. See Below. Click on the logo and read
for yourself.

LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS ONLY
Important Message
This section of
the website is password protected for an important reason. Our
products are law enforcement IDENTIFIER®
products. Limiting
the public’s knowledge of its meaning protects the
integrity of the Thin Blue Line. The products contained within this
area are to be purchased by law enforcement officers only. Their use
is severely restricted to the OFFICER and his/her SPOUSE ONLY (NO
girlfriends, boyfriends, fiancé etc.). No other family members are
allowed to wear or display any of the products within this area. No
exceptions are allowed. Any officer found to be in violation of The
Fraternal Blue Line Organization rules for use will have his/her
password deactivated and will be banned for LIFE.
From the above website one learns that the “thin
blue
line”
decal is restricted to use by the officer and his or her SPOUSE
only! For what purpose does the spouse display the “thin
blue
line”
decal on their automobile?
Why immunity from the law of course.
I
have a neighbor whose husband works at the Gordon County Sheriff’s
department. She displays the “thin
blue
line”
decal on the back of her car. "Do they really work” I asked her?
I've been pulled over three times and I've never gotten a ticket she
stated. Two of the times, the police made references to the decal.
The third time, I volunteered where it came from and he let me go
with a warning. Yes, they've worked for me. How do I get one I
asked? She said I had to know someone in law enforcement. For me it
was easier.
I
drove the parking lot of Arbor Place Mall in Douglasville one Sunday
until I saw an automobile proudly displaying one of these decals.
With a tape measure, I accurately measured the size of the decal.
They are NOT 3 X 5 as one might suspect. A digital photo enabled me
to make some accurate proofs that were then emailed to a friend in
Alabama that manufactures vinyl and reflective bumper stickers for
all types of political purposes. He has done an outstanding job of
producing 100% authentic “thin
blue
line”
decals.
Now
available for the first time ever to the general public, and
ONLY on this website, 100% accurate reproductions of the “thin
blue
line”
decals that law enforcement officers and their spouses exclusively
use to avoid the
financial $$$
penalties that you and I must face.
The purpose of the “thin
blue
line”
decal should now be clear. It is designed to be displayed and used
as an
identifier
of a law enforcement officer, or their spouse,
so that they may receive immunity
from the law. If
you don’t believe this, do your own Google search. Does it bother
you that law enforcement officers would have a secret
“high sign”
so that their spouses can be immune from the law?
We include FREE of charge, one “thin
blue
line”
decal for all purchasers of the
Georgia
$peedingTICKETKILLER
CD.
Law
enforcement officers will argue these decals do not work, that a LEO
will know if you are another officer or a spouse of one. How
would they know if you are a spouse of one? What would you expect
them to say? Think about it. The decal could have been on the car
when you purchased it.
I
think I've finally figured out why Osama bin Laden still is
at large. He's been riding around the mountains of Pakistan in a
Toyota pickup truck, but nobody has stopped him because he has one
of those little “thin
blue
line”
decals on his tailgate. Anyway, that's my theory.
LEGAL DISCLAIMER
Displaying a
Black
Decal with a
Blue
Stripe across it is not illegal in anyway shape form or fashion. If
you are ever stopped by an LEO, and you are asked if you are law
enforcement officer, simply state NO. My wife/husband (whichever
applies) works at the sheriffs department and he/she put the sticker
on there would be the reply.
The decal could have been on the car when it was purchased. I am
sure that has happened before. There is NO legal reason to prevent
you or anyone else from displaying it and possibly obtaining its
advantages.
And don’t think for one minute that most law enforcement officers
don’t provide these same decals to their daughters, sons,
girlfriends, mothers, etc. They escape; you and I have to pay up.
Very hypocritical.
No, I do not expect law enforcement to be happy with what we are
doing. YES, we do get a
LOT
of hate email from LEO about this. But I believe it is very
hypocritical that those we expect to enforce the laws to have a
“secret” system set up to protect themselves and their spouses from
the same financial penalties you and I must face.
